One of our co-founder graduted from China Academy of  Art.

In her sophomore year, there was a basic course called 3D Structure.

She designed a 'birdcage' work at that time. In order to build this model, she had  found numberous kinds of materials, but all cannot  fully express her design concept.

One day, She saw an article in the school library saying that some foreign students in the same profession use 3D printers to create 3D models. They only need to design their works on a computer. 3D  printers can turn their ideas into reality. The art work is not only efficient but also shows good results.

At that time, She thought that if we also had such a magical machine, completing the design work would be more effective.

Since then, She has begun to pay conscious attention to 3D printing technology. And finally established FlashForge.

She hopes in the near future 3D printer can manufacture objects quick like ligntning with craftsmanship spirit like human.

There are many companies releasesd SLA, DLP and LCD resin printer in the market today. All these printers fall into two groups: expensive and high resolution or less expensive but with sub-standard printing quality.To bridge this gap and bring high-quality printing capabilities to an affordable desktop 3D printing unit, we invented this Hunter high precision DLP resin printer. We tapped the top engineering, 3D printing and industrial design talent to create the Hunter, a printer that combines high printing resolution, a small and sleek form factor and a price tag that's within reach for artists, designers, businesses and hobbyists who are serious about creating high-quality, 3D-printed projects.

Ultra-Fine Resolution The Hunter's UV projector allows for pin-point accuracy when creating your project. The Hunter can print features as fine as 0.01mm, making your finishing touches easy and less time consuming than with other SLA 3D printers. 

3D printing is the process of printing 2D layers over and over, stacking them on top of each other. The thickness of those 2D layers is the Z resolution. The intricacy of features on those 2D layers is defined by the XY resolution. It's important to know the difference when you're evaluating DLP 3D printers. Our Hunter's Z resolution is 0.01 mm and the XY 0.0625mm resolution .This allows you to produce highly intricate designs with ultra-fine details.

Compatible to different types of 3rd party Resin Flashforge Hunter DLP 3D Printer is compatible to 3rd party resin for 3d printing, so users can have more flexibility to try different type of resin such as castable resin, tough resin, biocompatible resin etc. Therefore, Hunter DLP 3D Printer especially useful for making tough highly detailed engineering prototype, castable ring model, or even making medical model.

UV DLP Light Source 3D printing resin requires UV light for proper curing. Other DLP 3D printers use regular projectors which produce visible light, but not pure UV light. The advantages of the UV LED projector in the Hunter are in the resolution and curing process. The Hunter's UV projector, was custom designed with some special qualities, Perfect light spectrum.The resin used for 3D printing cures under light with a 405nm wavelength. The Hunter projector uses exactly that wavelength to cure our resin. The light spectrum of a regular projector ranges from 350nm to 700nm, which means most of the output light is wasted. The wasted light will generate heat and negatively affect the resin quality, lowering the resolution of the printed part. Our custom-built projector with our patent allows you to get real 0.01mm resolution. 

Runs cool and quiet: Utilizing a UV projector allows Hunter to avoid any overheating and makes it much quieter than other 3D printers. Long lifespan: The Hunter's 50,000-hour lifespan means you won't have to replace the bulb.

The light intensity of each area of a projector is different. It is normally dimmer in the corners and brighter in the center. To create a part with higher accuracy, the intensity of the entire projecting area should be uniform. We measured the intensity of the light in a grid for our UV projector and calibrated the projecting image to have a uniform output. This enables you to achieve repeatable results from all parts of the platform. It also ensures the Hunter can accurately print flat surfaces and straight lines.

Technological growth in 3D printing is ushering in a new era of digital dentistry. Beyond simply scanning patients to send out for fabrication elsewhere, doctors can now 3D print a wide variety of oral appliances in-office at a fraction of the cost of using an outside dental lab.

Small build volume is featured for Jewelers to save material. Hunter supports castable resins which can be used directly in the traditional lost-wax casting process. The Hunter is giving researchers and designers the speed, detail, and capability to turn concepts
and ideas to reality as creatively as they design.

Unlike laser SLAs that are drastically slower when printing large or complex parts, Hunter's print speed is consistently fast, and only dependent on the height of your model.
